Positive News: Dog Left Tied To A Fence In Hurricane Floodwaters

globalpositivenews Trooper, a young bull terrier found tied to a fence during Hurricane Milton in Florida, has been adopted by Frank and Carla Spina.

The couple has cared for bull terriers for over three decades. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper discovered the dog tied to a fence along I-75 in Tampa as the storm approached.
+
The Spinas wrote a heartwarming, two-page letter confessing their love for the bull terrier breed. The shelter had concerns since Trooper hadn’t been responding well around men. But Frank Spina wasn’t worried.
+
“From the moment he was introduced to his new Mom and Dad, you could see that it was a perfect match,” according to the Leon County Humane Society.
+
The couple also brought their other bull terrier, Dallas, and the two dogs hit it off instantly.
