Ontario Boy Turns Schoolwork Assignment into 353 Pounds of Food

While attending classes remotely during the COVID-19 quarantine, Tiago, a fifth grader from Ontario, Canada was given a school project. With his big heart he decided to go one step further and start a canned food drive for a local charity mission.

On Thursday, May 7, 2020, at the completion of his project Tiago and his family brought his collected donations to Kerr Street Ministries in Oakville, Ontario, Canada (about 15 miles west of Toronto.)

In all, they had 3 cars full of donations. The people at Kerr Street were so extremely grateful and they even took time to tell Tiago about what’s been happening there lately.
